Currently serving as the Sales Manager, Joe Albsmeyer is approaching six years in Dallas and ten within the industry. A 2006 graduate of Webber International University, he got his professional start in Central Florida before moving to Texas to pursue the Sports Marketing Coordinator position with the Dallas CVB. Albsmeyer's main focus is on recruiting and supporting all sports events outside of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. He has served on the volunteer action committee for Super Bowl XLV, as the lodging liaison for the 2014 NCAA Men's Final Four and also co-chaired the Heart of Dallas Bowl Hospitality Committee.
Albsmeyer grew up in central Illinois before moving to Florida to attend college on a baseball scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. A background in athletics paired with a desire to connect with people fuels his passion to promote Dallas as the ultimate sports destination to rights holders and fans alike. Joe enjoys representing the Dallas Sports Commission at various industry summits and conventions while pursuing professional development in the Certified Sports Event Executive curriculum. Content with trading in a baseball bat for a set of golf clubs, Albsmeyer relishes free time spent hitting the links, grilling with friends or exploring all that Dallas has to offer with his wife and two sons.
