Stephanie Myers joined the Dallas Sports Commission in August 2016, bringing to the DSC over 10 years of sports and entertainment event experience. A graduate of Kent State University with a Master's degree in Sports Management, she also earned an undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University. Stephanie's background includes seven years with the American Airlines Center as part of their event management team and two years with Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio as Director of Event Services, overseeing all event and guest services operations.
During her tenure with American Airlines Center, Stephanie managed Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars games, arena football, and countless concerts and family shows. At AAC, she handled such large events as the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, 2011 NBA Finals, Big 12 Basketball Championships, and NCAA Basketball. In Columbus, she handled all Columbus Blue Jacket hockey games, numerous shows, and hosted the 2015 NHL All-Star Game, NCAA Men's Basketball, and a staff of over 200 in guest services.
Stephanie is a native of Boardman, Ohio. During her undergraduate years at Youngstown State she was a four-year MVP of the women's golf team. In 2014 she was the first female golfer inducted into the Youngstown State Athletic Hall of Fame. Stephanie still enjoys playing golf in her spare time along with running and spending time with her husband and dog. Stephanie and her husband live in Bedford.
