The celebration featured cultural exchanges, live music, traditional food, and community activities that welcomed both international visitors and local residents. One of the day's most memorable moments came as Croatian supporters marched through downtown carrying a Croatian flag that stretched across the street, creating one of the tournament's most striking visual displays. Dressed in the nation's iconic red-and-white checkered jerseys, fans waved scarves, sang throughout the march, and proudly celebrated their heritage. The event reflected the FIFA World Cup's ability to bring cultures together while creating meaningful connections between visiting supporters and North Texas communities.

The excitement continued at Dallas Stadium as England defeated Croatia 4-2 in one of the tournament's most anticipated Group L matches, a rematch of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ semifinal.


England captain Harry Kane opened the scoring with a penalty in the 12th minute before Croatia responded through Martin Baturina in the 36th minute. Kane restored England's lead with his second goal of the match in the 42nd minute, but Croatia answered just before halftime as FC Dallas forward Petar Musa found the equalizer.
