Norway vs. Ivory Coast – Round of 32
ARLINGTON, Texas (June 30, 2026) – Erling Haaland sends Norway into the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and ends Ivory Coast’s tournament run at Dallas Stadium.
Ivory Coast started the game better and controlled much of the first 30 minutes, creating several early chances. But Norway scored first just before halftime when Antonio Nusa dribbled into the box and hit a strong shot into the top corner.
In the second half, Ivory Coast came back into the game after Amad Diallo came off the bench. He helped keep his team in the match by scoring the equalizer in the 66th minute. After a quick pass-and-move with Nicolas Pépé, Diallo dribbled past defenders and finished making it 1-1.
As the match came to an end, Norway found the winning goal in the 86th minute. Oscar Bobb played Haaland, and although his shot was not clean, it slowly crossed the line to make it 2-1. Ivory Coast’s World Cup run ends here, but they leave after a strong group stage performance. Norway now moves on to face Brazil in the Round of 16.
