Events

Soccer Kick

  • 6 participants
  • Each participant will receive 6 kicks from the official FIFA penalty kick distance (12 yards) into a regulation size soccer goal. The soccer goal will be divided into point zones that participants will aim for to receive points. The average score after all six participants have gone will be added to the company leaderboard for that event. The company with the highest average score in each division will receive an additional 50 points. Mulligan kicks can be purchased for a $100 charitable donation.
    • For $250 donation participants can double the score of each kick.


Water Balloon Toss

  • 4 participants per company
  • Companies will need to field two teams for the Water Balloon Toss Challenge. The teams of two will get two water balloons to see how far apart in distance they can successfully toss the balloon to each other without popping it. Points will be rewarded based off the number of feet between the participant after their longest successful toss. Teams can throw one long toss or throw multiple tosses as they increase the distance apart from each other. The company with the greatest distance between their toss will receive an additional 50 points.
  • Mulligan water balloons can be purchased for a $50 donation.


 

 

 

 

 Punt, Pass, Kick

  • 6 participants per company
  • Each participant will be allowed (1) Punt, (1) Pass, and (1) Kick. Scores are based on both distance and accuracy. If a participant passes the ball 60 feet, but it lands 10 feet off from the measuring tape, the final score would be 60-10=50. Bonus points will be awarded if and event target area is hit. Team scores will be accumulated after all participants have completed the event. The company with the top score will receive an additional 50 points.
    • A mulligan can be purchased for a $100 donation.
  • Top individual performer in this event will receive four tickets to a Cowboys game.

 

Robotics Challenge

  • 4 Participants
  • TBD

 

Strike Out Challenge

  • 6 Participants
  • Each participant will get 15 pitches to try and trough as many strikes as possible. For every pitch thrown in the strike zone teams will be awarded 5 points. Three strikes in a row at any point will award participants with an extra 15 points. The company with the top score will receive an additional 50 points
  • Pitchers will get to choose if they would like to face a left or right sided hitter. Be aware for every batter hit participants will lose two points.
  • The pitcher with the highest score in the corporate games will get tickets to a Rangers game - TBD

 

Top Golf SimulatorTBD

  • 4 participants
  • All participants will get a bucket of 15 golf balls to try and hit for as many points as possible in the Top Golf Simulator. Point structure will be depended on simulator set up. Your final golf ball or "Golden Ball" will be worth double points. The company with the top score will receive an additional 50 points.
    • Mulligans can be purchased for a $100 donation
    • Participants can donate $250 and receive five "Golden Balls" for their last five swings.
  • Highest score out of all the corporate games will win a Top Golf outing.

 

Parallel Parking Challenge

  • 2 participants
  • Each participant will have 60 seconds to parallel park the mystery vehicle in the parking zone. Points will be deducted from your total team score for ever cone hit and then for every 10 seconds after the time limit until it takes you to park. Points will also be deducted for every gear change made after the 4th gear change.
    • The team with the fastest cumulative time will be awarded 100 points.
    • The team with the second fastest time will be awarded 50 points
    • The team with the third fastest time will be awarded 25 points.

Cornhole Tournament

 

  • Two teams of two per company
  • A singe elimination tournament combining all divisions will be created once all teams have been entered. Teams will take turns tossing bags at the cornhole board until a team reaches the score of 15 or whoever is in the lead after the 10-minute time limit per game. Points are kept according to cancellation scoring. In cancellation scoring, the points of one team cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one team can score in each frame. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the board scores 1 point. The championship round will be a best two out of three series.
  • 100 points will be awarded to the 1st place team; 50 points will be awarded to the 2nd place team. The 3rd/4th place teams who lose the semi-final games will each be awarded 25 points and teams who finish 5th – 8th and lose in the quarterfinals will receive 10 points each. All other teams will receive 5 points.

 

Pickleball Tournament

 

  • Two teams of two per company. (1 Man and 1 Woman per team)
  • A singe elimination tournament combining all divisions will be created once all teams have been entered. Teams will compete in a pickleball game to 11 with a win by 2 rule. USAPA Equipment and Rules will be used for all matches. The championship round will be a best two out three series. Official USAPA Rules can be found here: https://www.usapa.org/rules-summary/
  • 100 points will be awarded to the 1st place team; 50 points will be awarded to the 2nd place team. The 3rd/4th place teams who lose the semi-final games will each be awarded 25 points and teams who finish 5th – 8th and lose in the quarterfinals will receive 10 points each. All other teams will receive 5 points.

 

Champions Challenge

  • At the end of day once all events have been completed and division champions have been named, the division champions will compete in a Champions Challenge tournament to determine the events Grand Champion.
  • The event will not be announced until the award ceremony and could include any of the following or other ideas.
    • Dodgeball
    • Tug of War
    • 4x100 Race
  • Teams will be seeded in a single-elimination tournament based off their points earned.
