DSC's Ginger Lively Cade Named a 2019 Connect Sports Game Changer

Ginger Lively Cade, sales director at the Dallas Sports Commission, was recognized as an industry leader in Connect Sports magazine's "Game Changers" feature in the Fall 2019 issue. Connect Sports is a national, B2B magazine that provides resources and ideas to professionals and planners in the sports tourism industry.  An annual feature in Connect Sports magazine, "Game Changers" honors innovative leaders who have earned respect from industry professionals and media.  Ginger was recognized in front of her peers at Connect Sports in Louisville, Kentucky, on August 26.

NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series Awarded to Dallas for 2021

On September 1 it was announced the Dallas will host the 45th NAGAAA (North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance) Gay Softball World Series in 2021.  Dallas hosted the GSWS in 2014, 2004 and 1998, and it is the largest annual, LGBT single-sport, week-long athletic competition in the world.  More than 200 teams from the 46 member cities across North America compete to qualify and represent their city in one of five divisions.
