Executive Update, March 2018

Abhijay Kodali and Naysa Modi were the co-winners of the Dallas Regional Spelling Bee.

March Madness provided many exciting moments at the American Airlines Center as the DSC and Big 12 Conference hosted the 1st & 2nd rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on March 15 & 17.  Texas Tech and Loyola-Chicago advanced to the Sweet Sixteen with exciting, action-packed victories in front of sellout crowds.

The 60th Annual Golden Chick Dallas Regional Spelling Bee was presented by the DSC on March 24 at the George W. Bush Presidential Center.  After 27 rounds of competition, Naysa Modi of Frisco and Abhijay Kodali of Flower Mound were crowned co-champions and will represent the Dallas Region at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. at the end of May.
