Executive Update, November 2017

The Dallas Sports Commission rolled out the inaugural Dallas Bike Ride on Saturday, November 4th with 3,000 bike riders of all ages taking part in the 20-mile, closed-road and car-free ride through the city.  Riders were treated to live entertainment and other activities at the post-ride Finish Festival at City Hall Plaza.

The Olympic spirit was alive and well at Klyde Warren Park on November 18 when the Team USA WinterFest presented by Hershey's made its Dallas stop.  Several Olympians made appearances at the family-fun event that featured a number of interactive elements.  The Winter Olympics begin February 9th in PyeongChang, South Korea.
