Recently promoted to Director of Business Development, Joe Albsmeyer has held positions with Dallas Sports Commission in both sales and services dating back to 2010. A graduate of Webber International University, Joe got his professional start in Central Florida before moving to Texas to pursue the Sports Marketing Coordinator position with the Dallas CVB. In his new role, Joe will continue his focus on recruiting and supporting all sports events outside of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center as well as forge the Sports Commission team into new areas of growth that bolster Dallas' position as the leading sports destination in the country. He has served on the volunteer action committee for Super Bowl XLV, as the lodging liaison for the 2014 NCAA Men's Final Four and also co-chaired the Heart of Dallas Bowl Hospitality Committee. He values personal connections with both clients and partners and plays a vital role in the onboarding and development of new staff members.
