"The Dallas Sports Commission is honored to work together with the Cotton Bowl Stadium and the eight high schools to present this great weekend of high school football at such an iconic and legendary venue," said Monica Paul, Executive Director of the Dallas Sports Commission.

Eight of the top Dallas-area 6-A football programs will play in the Cotton Bowl Stadium Prep Showcase, with seven of the eight having been playoff teams in 2015.  Some of the state's top recruits will be showcased, including Oklahoma commit Chris Robison, quarterback at Mesquite Horn; Rockwall wide receiver Sam Crawford; and Plano East linebacker Anthony Hines and defensive lineman Delontae Watts.

"We are excited to participate in the inaugural Cotton Bowl Stadium Prep Showcase", said Steve Bragg, Mesquite ISD Athletic Director.  "The Dallas Sports Commission and Cotton Bowl Staff have worked hard to ensure that the athletes, fans, and communities involved are going to have a first class experience!"
