A veteran of the hospitality industry, Ginger has been a part of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau and Dallas Sports Commission for 21 years. Her career in sports began as a student assistant in the athletic department at her alma matter, The University of North Texas, and quickly advanced into the hospitality industry where she gravitated into sales and service. As Sports Sales Director, her main focus is to attract large sporting events and conventions that utilize the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, most of which affect our city hotel community as a citywide event.
Ginger played in integral role in preparing the Dallas bid for the 2012 Summer Olympics, Super Bowl XLV, NBA All-Star Game, NCAA Men's and Women's Final Four, Big 12 Championships, Inaugural College Football National Championship Game and numerous other premier youth and Olympic sporting events. She represents Dallas Sports in numerous roles within the Dallas Local Organizing Committee on various prestigious events throughout our community. She and her husband, Ras, own a family custom saddle business and enjoy spending time with their animal family of English Bulldogs as well as traveling the calf roping and rodeo trail.
"Managing the logistics and accessibility for our event is formidable. The Dallas Sports Commission was an outstanding partner that embraced our program, our Veterans and helped open doors that were essential for the success of our event. " Dave Tostenrude Director National Veterans Wheelchair Games
