(Tuesday, July 8, 2025) – The 2025 Gold Cup and Nations League champion Mexico returns to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex this October to take on 2024 Copa America finalist Colombia and its star-studded roster.
The Federación Mexicana de Futbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), along with its local partners, FC Dallas, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Sports Commission, today announced that the back-to-back Gold Cup champion Mexican Men’s National Team will battle one of South America’s most popular sides, Colombia, presented by AT&T, on Saturday, October 11 at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium (a FIFA 2026 World Cup venue). This matchup of two Top 20 FIFA ranked sides will be played during the October FIFA international window, allowing both teams to bring their full-strength squads.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, July 11 @ 10 a.m. CST at SomosLocales.com. Tickets to the previously announced MexTour matches are already available on the site (September 6 vs. Japan in Oakland, and September 9 vs. Korea in Nashville).
Leading up to the much-anticipated match, the week of activities in the metroplex will start on Wednesday, October 8, with the annual MexTour Live concert, presented by Gillette. The marquee headliner and venue will be announced at a future date. Other events during the week include the conclusion of Copa Kin 2025, the Mexican National Team’s annual reading program across multiple school districts in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Launched in collaboration with Dallas Sports Commission, the program gives students a chance to win tickets to the match and other prizes by reading books. In the six years since the program started, local students have read and logged more than 30 million minutes of reading.
The Dallas area has become a second home to the Mexican National Team, anchored by a multi-year partnership with the Dallas Cowboys, FC Dallas and the Dallas Sports Commission that has brought the team to AT&T Stadium annually since 2018, along with the MexTour Live concert and fan festival, and the Copa Kin reading program.**Excludes 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic
